How to Create Presets in Nik 6 Silver EfexĪs I just mentioned above, every photographer has their own preferences. There isn’t “one preset to rule them all”. Every photograph is different, and every photographer has different preferences. The adjustments are live, which means the image in the display area is updated immediately. If needed, you can make further adjustments to the sliders. Your image will automatically update and so will the value of the sliders that are found in the right panel. To activate a preset all you need to do is click on its thumbnail. This makes it easy to find one that you like. In other words, they give you a preview of what your image will look like with that preset applied. What I like about this tab is that the presets are presented as image preview thumbnails. The left panel is where you find a list of all the presets.
